I have first hand experience with the challenges of mental distress and difference. I am both autistic and ADHD. These experiences have deeply influenced my understanding of neurodiversity and opened doors to new approaches for managing mental health.

Several years ago, I faced a serious undiagnosable condition that put my body into crisis mode. This period was marked by significant weight loss, disorientation, severe mental distress, and a struggle to find effective treatment. With the NHS overwhelmed by COVID-19 and unable to provide the necessary care, I invested heavily in private treatment to seek recovery.

This personal journey through illness and recovery profoundly impacted me and inspired me to pursue a Doctorate in Neuropsychology. I am still working towards this goal, but I am dedicated to my studies and currently writing a paper to publish on fears and phobias.

Professionally, I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals. My experience includes:

  • Supporting transgender individuals through body dysmorphia and family abuse/neglect.

  • Assisting people who are questioning or exploring their sexuality.

  • Public speaking on the intricate relationship between religion and mental health.

  • Engaging with individuals experiencing suicidal ideation and providing support during critical moments.

  • Helping those with schizophrenia manage their emotions effectively.

  • Working with individuals who have experienced childhood trauma, providing compassionate and targeted support.

My experiences have not only shaped my professional goals but also fueled my passion for helping others. I bring a deep, personal understanding and commitment to offering compassionate and informed care. While my current qualifications do not include formal accreditation by therapeutic bodies, my personal and professional experiences, along with my ongoing studies, enable me to offer informed, empathetic, and effective support to those who need it. I am dedicated to providing a safe and understanding space for all my clients and am continually striving to enhance my knowledge and skills.
